The Elements In witchcraft.

Art by Sarita

In nature there are four elements in which the world lives and breathes. In witchcraft, and other

traditions however, there is a fifth element... spirit.

A pentagram points to all the elements (as shown above.) In witchcraft we encompass these elements

with a protection or manifestation circle to balance certain aspects of our life. This is called a pentacle.

(As shown below.)

How to balance with the elements in witchcraft:

Make sure to have the elements at your altar when you perform magic! Especially the elements we wish

to work with the most. For example if our world feels a little too tense with flames calm them down with

the water element. If your are feeling like you need more stability in you life make sure the earth element

is present and so on. We must also make sure to honor the elements and admire their existence. This way,

witches and elements can work together to achieve balance.

In conclusion, the elements work together with the witch to simulate and manifest.
